Unioncamere Lombardia and Lombardy Region organised the final event “Promoting European Local Food Systems”.

During the event the position paper “Promoting European Local Food Systems” will be presented and addressed to the European Commission.

The document is the result of the contributions of several European Regions and Networks: ERRIN, Euromontana, KEN, AREPO, “Città del Bio” and Purple and it aims at promoting concrete actions at European level to support greater protection of the European agricultural heritage and the agro-food economic system.

The event will see the participation of the highest EU representatives and regional political authorities within the framework of EXPO 2015.
