During the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's 84th Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Denver, Colorado, Emanuela Stocchi, Director of International Affairs for AISCAT, the Italian Association of Toll Highways Concessionaires Companies, was elected as 2017 President of the IBTTA.

Founded in 1932, the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association is the worldwide association representing toll facility owners and operators and the businesses that serve them. With members in more than 20 countries on six continents, IBTTA is implementing innovative user-based transportation financing solutions to address the critical infrastructure challenges of the 21st century.
Emanuela Stocchi, expert in EU legislation and policies, served IBTTA through work on several committees before being appointed to the board of directors in 2011. Due to her international experience she was chosen as president in order to address the many challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Stocchi’s term begins January 1, 2017. “Her leadership and vision - said Patrick Jones, Executive Director and CEO of IBTTA - will serve as an asset at this critical time when countries around the world are seeking solutions to funding and financing infrastructure”.
