On 8 April 2019 in Brussels it will be held the Digital4Med Conference. The changes brought by the EU’s Digital Single Market offer the opportunity to put the relationship between the EU and the Southern Mediterranean countries on a new footing. This will be discussed during the high-level ministerial conference. In the context of building closer ties with the Southern Mediterranean countries, the Commission has launched a number of initiatives that together open the perspective for greater cross-Mediterranean connectivity for data.
