TechItaly 2016 - Circular economy

TECHTALY is a promotional event focused on the latest excellences and innovations of Italian technology in different relevant sectors (industrial innovation, aerospace, global challenges).The initiative is organized in Brussels since 2012 by the Embassy of Italy in Belgium and the Italian Trade Agency, in close cooperation with other relevant Italian partners as the Permanent Representation of Italy to the EU, the National Research Council (CNR), the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA), Confindustria and the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
TECHITALY 2016 will debate the future challenges and the business opportunities of the new circular economy strategy and its impact in the EU internal market, in particular, in the Italian market for all different stakeholders involved as policy makers, clean-tech industries, SME’s, universities and research centers.
The two-day program will include:
- Conference – Brussels, European Parliament, 29th November 2016
- Workshop and B2B Meeting – Brussels, Espace Banca Monte Paschi Belgio, 30th November 2016
The 1st day Conference will discuss the main topics of the new ambitious European Circular Economy Package – currently under legislative procedure – with contributions of EU and Italian institutional representatives (EU Parliament, Commmission and Italian Ministry for environment). A 2nd session of the conference will highlight the Italian landscape in the circular economy by presenting the 2016 edition of “L’Italia del Riciclo” and some relevant best practices in the field of research and industry with contributions of representatives from CNR, ENEA and Confindustria.
The 2nd day workshop will give the opportunity to Italian and Belgium enterprises, research centers and universities to get in touch with each other and to implement partnerships and collaborations on innovative and sustainable projects.
