Bando BlackBerry® Scholars Program

Blackberry fornira' borse di studio per corsi di laurea completi a donne eccellenti che dimostrino un particolare interesse o attitudine nel settore del mobile computing.

Il BlackBerry Scholars Program, pensato per supportare l’ingresso e la carriera di altre donne nel campo della scienza, della tecnologia, dell’ingegneria e della matematica (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math – STEM), fornirà borse di studio universitarie complete della durata di quattro anni a donne eccellenti che voglio iscriversi alle migliori università e istituti nelle aree STEM, che dimostrino un particolare interesse o attitudine nel settore del mobile computing.

I partecipanti al Programma devono essere donne, di anni 18 o più grandi. Se la candidata è minorenne, il consenso per partecipare al programma e l'accettazione del premio, sono richiesti dai genitori o da un tutore legale, al momento della presentazione della domanda.

Il programma è aperto agli studenti statunitensi e agli studenti di tutto il mondo, se non diversamente indicato nel bando o in altri documenti associati al Programma.

The BlackBerry® Scholars Program is a global four-year scholarship program for outstanding women entering their first year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university. The Program is designed to help increase the number of women studying and influencing the future of mobile computing, including Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, and particularly those with an interest and/or aptitude in the mobile computing space.

All applicants to The BlackBerry® Scholars Program must be female and age 18 or older (or the equivalent age of majority where you live). If the applicant is a minor, consent for participation in the program and acceptance of the Award is required from their parent or legal guardian at the time of application for the Program.

The Program is open to U.S. and non-U.S. students worldwide, unless otherwise indicated in these terms and conditions or in other documentation associated with the Program.

La borsa di studio non copre vitto e alloggio, le altre spese di soggiorno, tasse di libri o di materiali, trasporti, o altri costi non inclusi nelle tasse scolastiche.

The Scholarship does not cover room and board, other living expenses, books or materials fees, transportation, or other costs not included in tuition.

Payment of the Scholarships will be made directly to the college or university in which the recipient is matriculated and enrolled on an annual basis before the start of each school year.

Any tax implications for the Scholarship will depend on the tax law where the individual Recipient resides and may also depend on the policies and procedures at the college or university where the recipient has matriculated.

La scadenza per la presentazione delle domande è il 26 giugno 2013.

I destinatari delle borse di studio saranno avvisati, via mail, entro il 31 luglio 2013.

Women who will be entering their first year of study in the 2013-2014 academic year and are interested in this scholarship may apply for the Program by 5pm EST on the June 26th, 2013 application deadline.

Scholarship recipients (“Recipients”) will be notified by mail on or before July 31st, 2013.
