The World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) in May will help reshape the way humanitarian aid will be delivered in the future. In the run-up to this important milestone, the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA) and the European Commission are organising a series of ‘European humanitarian roundtables’.
These panel debates will foster information and idea sharing between those affected by humanitarian crises, academics, practitioners and youth involved in humanitarian action, and aim to feed into the EU’s humanitarian policy and practice. The roundtables will cover themes such as access and subsidiarity, protection in urban settings, and current challenges of forced and protracted displacement.
17 February 2016: University of Uppsala, Sweden - covering Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland.
