Marche: borse di studio per giovani ricercatori 2012

Borse di studio post doc 2012 per giovani ricercatori della Regione Marche nel campo della medicina molecolare.
Fondazione Marche sponsorizza 10 borse post doc nel campo della medicina molecolare con specifico riferimento alle aree di interesse determinate dalla Regione Marche e dall'Università Politecnica delle Marche.
- i candidati devono essere nati, o aver assunto la residenza prima dell'aprile 2012, nella Regione Marche;
- i candidati devono aver acquisito un “Diploma di Specializzazione” o un “Dottorato di Ricerca” completato non prima del marzo 2005;
- i candidati devono possedere una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese, scritta e parlata.
Tutte le borse hanno durata di un anno, ma possono essere estese di un ulteriore anno a seguito di performance positive nel primo.

The program scientific direction is entrusted to ISSNAF - Italian Scientists and Scholars in North America Foundation. The program, addressed to young researchers of the Marches, stems from the Memorandum of Understanding “Programma Marche 20.20” approved by the Giunta Regionale of Regione Marche on November 24, 2011 whereby Regione Marche, Università Politecnica delle Marche, Fondazione Marche and ISSNAF-Italian Scientists and Scholars in North America Foundation agree to establish a strategic partnership within the areas of higher scientific and technological training, networking and communication.
The call is extended for lines of research to be performed in well-established laboratories in North America.
While the number of fellowships is defined, the list of laboratories and tutors provided below may not be final. Alternative laboratories and tutors may be proposed by the candidate in order to best fit his/her research (see application Instructions) and the matching to laboratories below is subject to the selection of suitable candidates.
Fields:
- Nanotechnologies. Research Centre: The Methodist Hospital Research Institute, Houston, TX;
- Brain and cognitive science Research Centre. MIT, Cambridge, MA;
- Stem cells research: Research Centre. Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA;
- Neural and cell biology. Research Centre: YaleUniversity, New Haven, CT;
- Metabolic diseases. Research Centre: Diabetes Research Institute, Miami, FL;
- Cancer biology. Research Centre: New York University, New York, NY;
- Molecular Genetics. Research Centre: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA;
- Human cancer genetics. Research Centre: Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.
All fellowships cover a yearly stipend of $50.000 including US health insurance. Fellows will sign an employment agreement with the research center.
